Pixel Movement owner Dirk Monson recently spent the day teaching girl scouts the fundamentals of technology.

The girls each took turns disassembling the computers to see how each one was put together. The point of the exercise was to show the girls that they themselves could perform many of the typical computer maintenance activities such as cleaning and memory upgrades.

At the end of the day, each girl was able to take home a piece of the computer they disassembled.

Time was also set aside for a discussion on Internet safety and tips on how to stay safe online.
