About Pixel Movement

Pixel Movement was founded during the Summer of 2004 by myself, Dirk Monson. After spending several years working for a public school district and with educational non-profits, I became frustrated with the lack of good, affordable multimedia tools and services available to that segment.

Existing companies promised the world to us, but at a cost that was well beyond our budget. So, the other team members and myself had to improvise and become the experts ourselves. Needless to say, I got a crash in everything from website development to photography/videography. I knew from then on I could do exactly what the "big guys" were doing, but at a fraction of a cost.

These experiences led me to a simple thought: multimedia production doesn't have to be expensive and it doesn't have to be out-of-reach for educational and non-profit entities or small businesses.

From this simple idea, Pixel Movement was born.

Today, Pixel Movement's focus still remains on website development, but we've expaned into graphic design, video production and internet marketing. We provide our unique blend of multimedia services to dozens of clients throughout the United States. They represent a cross-section of our country: small-businesses built on dreams to non-profits built on changing the world. Regardless of their industry, their mission, or their size, our commitment to them remains the same.
