Pixel Movement utilizes the latest technologies in every project we take on. Each website we create is a combination of PHP, MySQL, the Joomla Content Management System, AJAX and Web 2.0 styling. These websites are then hosted from a state-of-the-art data center located in Dallas, Texas.

For video production, we use high-definition cameras, such as the Sony FX1, Sennheiser wireless microphones and Final Cut Pro running on Mac OS X for editing. All of these technologies assure that your project isn't outdated before its finished.

Dirk Monson - Founder and owner of Pixel Movement Dirk Monson has worked in website development and video production for over a decade. His experience spans across multiple industries, from education to private enterprise. Before founding Pixel Movement, Dirk also worked in the IT department of MDU Resources and as a web developer for Minot Public Schools.

His achievements thus far in the business world have not gone unnoticed. He was a featured entrepreneur in the December 2007 issue of Future CEO Stars magazine, which features up-and-coming young professionals. He has also participated in numerous community enrichment projects, including teaching technology safety to Girl Scouts. Additionally, Dirk has been a keynote speaker at Marketplace for Kids on two occasions, where he spoke about his experiences.

Dirk is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at North Dakota State University, where he was named to the Dean's List in 2007-2009.

Jessie Monson - Jessie plays a vital role at Pixel Movement as general production assistant. She is most likely to be seen working in the field conducting interviews or assisting with day-to-day activities at the office.

When Jessie is working with Pixel Movement, she spends her time working as a race horse trainer and also serves on the executive board for the North Dakota Horse Park/Horse Race North Dakota.

Students - Pixel Movement also hires students to assist with various projects. During 2008, Pixel Movement allowed eight students to gain valuable experience in our industry. These students each had the opportunity to spend a day as production assistants and camera operators for the nine Marketplace for Entrepreneurs held across North Dakota. This program was a success in 2008 and we hope to continue into 2009, as well.
